A terrace Swimming pool is basically a small swimming pool that you can build on the terrace of your home or office building. It’s not as big as a garden pool but it is still large enough to enjoy some fun in the sun.
The best thing about this type of swimming pool is that it doesn’t require any special skills and tools to construct. You don’t need to hire a professional contractor for this project. In fact, most people who want to build a terrace pool are able to do it themselves with just basic carpentry skills.

Terrace Swimming pool rules:
If you have a terrace swimming pool, you must know about the rules of it. Here are some things you should know before starting the construction:
1. The size of the pool
A good rule of thumb is to make sure that the pool will be at least four feet deep. If you plan to install a diving board, then you might want to go up to six feet deep. This way, you can dive into the water without worrying about hitting your head on the bottom.
2. The location of the pool
You should also consider where you want to place the pool. For example, if you live in an apartment building, you may want to put your pool near the entrance so that everyone can use it easily. If you live in a house, you could choose to create a smaller pool in the backyard or even a terrace pool.
3. The shape of the pool
You can either design the pool yourself or let someone else do it for you. There are many different shapes that you can choose from such as rectangle, square, circle, oval, and more.
4. Building construct and framework
If you insist on putting a terrace pool then you must check your building rules and framework about terrace pool. Most buildings allow you to build pools but they usually limit how big they can be. Make sure that you ask permission first before installing one.
5. Waterproofing
This is probably the most important part of the terrace pool. You must ensure that the pool has waterproofing material installed. Otherwise, you will end up having a pool full of water which is very annoying.
6. Safety measures
It is always better to take safety precautions when you are building something like this. Install fences around the pool area and keep children away from the pool. Also, make sure that there are no sharp objects lying around.
7. Cleaning
Make sure that you clean the pool regularly. You should remove all debris and dirt after every swim session.
8. Maintenance
Make sure that you maintain the pool properly. Check for leaks and cracks regularly. Keep the filter clean and replace the pump once a year.
